Dr. Jackson to Speak at Becker’s Annual Meeting in Chicago

Alisahah Jackson, MD, System Vice President of Population Health Innovation and Policy, will be speaking at Becker’s 12^th Annual Meeting next week in Chicago. The fireside chat session, titled Digital Solutions Advance Perinatal Outcomes, will be presented on Monday, April 25 from 1:30 to 2:05 p.m. CST. Technology has created opportunities for hospitals and health systems to expand their services, especially in obstetrics. Hospitals have now invested in platforms allowing services such as chat- and text-based navigation; remote-patient monitoring; maternal risk management and education. These services have not only proven to improve clinical decision-making but also drive better collaboration and communication among providers, mothers and their families. In this session, Boston Medical Center will share how it integrated Rimidi to remotely monitor moms, while CommonSpirit Health will describe how it uses Docent Health, a consumer engagement and patient navigation technology, to better understand and direct patient needs.
